::Hi, it's Janet Murray. And here are my thoughts on the best planet for female entrepreneurs. Until I started selling a content planner, I had no idea. People had such a complicated relationship with planners or diaries. So let me explain. I think I've identified four types of people or four types of relationships that people have with planners and diaries. The first one is the planner cynic.
::So this is the person who has tried planners or diabetes in the past. Sometimes a lot often just a few, and just decided that they really don't work for them. Then you've got your planet pragmatist. So this is the person who feels it's not worth investing in a planner, unless you're going to write in every page, unless you're going to use it every single day,
::every week, every month of the whole year, then you've got your planet enthusiastic. This is the person who will email you back and forth. And Leslie asking questions about the planner, asking to see pictures, even though there are already pictures on the sales page, asking if you wouldn't mind just sending a few sample pages, this person really has about getting the layout of their planner,
::right? They probably actually need to create their own plan because no planner will ever be quite right for their taste, but that is your planet enthusiast. Then there's the planet monogamist. So this is the person who believes that you can only ever have one planner. And that one planner has got to be right for every situation it's got to work for. Life,
::business, whatever is going on. This person will often have been using that same planner for quite some years. And the idea that they might use another one or add a second or third one into the mix. Well, that will be like being unfaithful to a partner. Now I'm being a bit tongue in cheek here, and it really is a first world problem.
::But as, as examples show, there seems to be a lot of fear there about choosing the wrong planner. But our problem with planners isn't that we keep buying the wrong planner. It's us thinking that we can only get value out of a planner if we use it in a certain way. So if we write in it every day, every week, every year,
::if we write in every part of it and it's just not realistic, I mean, I sat a planner and I don't write in mine every day. It really is okay to kiss a few frogs. So by that, I mean by a few planners to find the right one or find one that works for you and you probably won't find exactly the right one,
::unless you're willing to design and make one yourself. It's also okay to have more than one planet. In fact, some people need to have that. I actually worked with a couple of planners and I also have a notebook that I work with as well. That's fine. It's okay to use both a digital and a paper planner as well. Although I have a content,
::the courageous concept planner, I actually write in mind that much. It doesn't mean I don't use it every day. I just use it differently to other people. It's also okay to have a break from a planner and come back to it. It's not the end of the world. If you get busy and you don't use your planner for a week or two,
::or you take a break from your content, if you're using a content plan, that's fine too, because here's the thing we all have different brains. And the important thing is that we get the outcome you need from the planner or the planners that we choose. It's not just about filling up the pages or using it in a certain way, like using the method correctly.
::So to conclude, and I'm sorry if this disappoints you, because you were looking for the definitive answer, there is no ideal planner for the female entrepreneur. The key is to find a planner or it could be a combination of planners or planning tools that works for you that helps you to get the outcome that you desire. And with that in mind, I should probably mention that I've just launched a new planner.
::It's based on their system. I use to plan my days and get things done, which isn't always easy for someone with ADHD, for whom planning doesn't come that naturally like my courageous concept plan. If you've got one of those that uses my overhead planning strategy, which involves planning in 90 day cycles, and just breaking your planning down into manageable chunks to reduce overwhelm,
::it's got quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily planning templates and spaceport to-do lists, sketches, notes, whatever you like to do or need to do to get things done. And it's got accountability, pumps and trackers, and no, you don't have to use it exactly the way it's prescribed. There is a recommended way to use it. But as with my courageous
::content planner, it's up to you to use this as a complete system, if that works for you or to use it as part of your overall planning system. So as it's the first time I have launched a day planner, it's called the life planner, but it basically is about planning your days to be more productive. So I'm just doing a short print one.
::So if you'd like to get your hands on a copy, then you'll need to join the wait list or to join the wait list. If you had to act Janet Murray, UK, and DM the word life that will add you to the wait list. If you're listening later than December, 2021, then the wait list may well be over and finished, but it should send you to a page where you'll either be able to order the planner or you'll be able to pre-order for the next time it's available.
